Chapter 5 Town & Village Centres Placemaking & Regeneration
The “mixed-use” development zoned area referred to above (and again on page
52) is within the bounds of what we currently know as the Garden Village Estate. It is
zoned for the area immediately inside the main gate, on the right hand side in the
wasteland area.
This will result in increased traffic flow, noise pollution, reduction of
privacy for the existing houses in the immediate vicinity and potential (depending on
development) of gathering of people in the vicinity of the mixed-use area.
